Beef Chili

I do not make the Chili like the recipe on the Wick Fowlers Pkg
(Sorry Wick Fowler)

Note: Wick Fowler now has a Chicken Chili Mix. Make sure you buy the right one for the right meat. Chicken meat for Chicken Chili and the Original for chili meat or hamburger meat.

1 ea Onion, yellow or purple – diced
1 tbs olive oil
1- 2 lbs Chili meat or hamburger meat lean
1 box Wick Fowlers Chili Mix
2 cns Crushed tomatoes, 28 oz – I use Hunts
1 box Beef Broth, 50% less Sodium 32 oz
2 cns Kidney beans or Pinto Beans

Saute onion in olive oil, add chili meat and brown meat, then drain off excess fat.

Add Wick Fowlers Chili mix and stir until well mix. Stir in Crushed Tomatoes, then add beef broth.

Let simmer at least 4 hrs with top on, but partially open.

When you are ready to eat, add the Kidney beans or Pinto beans and let them heat.

Serve with Tamales, over fritos, or just crackers and butter of course :).
